Robotics: Day 3 – Circuits

Today was our first day experimenting with the Arduino board itself. We’ve previously worked with the programming and circuit board setup with Project Ignite, and this was our chance to finally apply our (very limited) knowledge. Throughout today, Andrew and I experimented with the circuits and different LEDs. We learned the basics of electrical circuitry – learning about Ohm’s Law, how to read a resistor, and making schematics. We also got used to the Arduino Programming – making the Arduino output different digital voltages depending on the analog inputs. We were able to change the color of an LED depending on the voltage output of a potentiometer, and turn on and off lights through serial communication.42f5f121-591b-452c-ac94-ad2810fb9868743eb840-1f5a-49ed-ac66-5617365ed359.png
